Savoring Italy Series: A Journey Through Tuscany! 🌿
On Friday, May 16th, ICS welcomed guests for another memorable evening in our Apericena – Savoring Italy series, this time celebrating the rich culture and culinary traditions of Tuscany.
The evening began with a captivating presentation by Prof. Annelise Brody Morani, Chair of our Board of Directors, who guided us through Tuscany’s cultural, historical, and artistic treasures—offering insights into the region’s deep connections between art, food, and identity.
Maurizio Farro then introduced a carefully selected trio of wines—Vernaccia di San Gimignano 2023, Chianti 2022, and Vin Santo del Chianti, all generously provided by Cantiniere Imports & Distributing Inc.
Guests enjoyed a Tuscan-style apericena, featuring regional favorites like salsicce, finocchiona, salame, and pane toscano, generously offered by Terra di Siena, along with vegetarian specialties and a traditional dessert to complete the experience.
The evening also marked the inauguration of our newly expanded event space, and we were delighted to celebrate this milestone in such warm and lively company.
