Join us for our traditional gathering to celebrate the season
Sunday, Dec. 19th at 4:30 pm ET
Chevy Chase Village Hall
5906 Connecticut Ave, Chevy Chase, MD 20815
This year, we celebrated the magic of Christmas with an in-person party for a limited number of participants
(only ICS members, approximately 65 adults and 25 kids)
Sunday, December 19th at 4:30pm ET
This year we did not have our traditional potluck, to limit the time without wearing masks, but we were grateful to have the opportunity for a holiday toast with Prosecco and Panettone together with our members.
The piano concert was performed by the 2020 winner of our Luciana Montanari-Mendola Award: Kyeongmi Lim.
Native of South Korea, Kyeongmi Lim received her Master of Music degree from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University under the tutelage of Alexander Shtarkman. She has won many prizes at competitions such as The Music Education News Competition, Namyangju Symphony Orchestra Music Competition, Camerata Artists International Competition and more. Miss Lim performed at the 76th Chosun Newspaper Debut Concert for new talent, Euroasia Music Festival Orchestra, Moldova Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra of The University of Alicante and more. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Music degree from Catholic University of America under the tutelage of Ivo Kaltchev.
