SPECIAL SCREENING of FELLINI’S CITY OF WOMEN
at the AFI Silver Theatre, co-presented with the ICS
On September 6th, 2025, we co-hosted a special 45th anniversary screening of Federico Fellini’s iconic film LA CITTÀ DELLE DONNE (City of Women) in partnership with the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center.
Held at the renowned AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, MD, the event paid tribute to Fellini’s bold cinematic vision and to the unforgettable artistry of Marcello Mastroianni.
Before the screening, attendees enjoyed a lively reception sponsored by the Italian Cultural Society of Washington, DC, with complimentary birra PERONI generously offered to all ticket holders.
It was a memorable afternoon that honored Italian cinema and celebrated the enduring legacy of Marcello Mastroianni (1924–1996), whose work continues to inspire audiences worldwide.
