ELEMENTARY 1 (A2)… Italian with Laura!

Discover the Italian language and culture.

Online via Zoom – 10 lessons
Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm ET – January 13th to March 17th

After the successful “Beginners 2… After Aperitivo,” Instructor Laura Loddo continues this amazing learning experience.

You will learn to express yourself in the past tense and in the imperfect, talking about leisure activities, family, work, ideas, planning, etc. The grammar will focus on nouns and articles, present tense and irregular verbs, reflexives and imperative. Also, direct and indirect object pronouns, prepositions, comparatives and the ‘si’ impersonal form. The best part? The last 15 minutes will be spent exploring various cultural aspects!

This course is for students with basic knowledge of Italian who have already completed the A1 level, which includes Beginners 1 and 2 (A1).

Our method includes various techniques, in order to meet the different learning styles of each student: guided conversations, role play, reading, listening, exercises from the textbook and other sources, songs and video. Students will need to purchase the textbook: Nuovo Contatto A2 (Loescher editore) online.
